We snuck away one weekend in September to spend a couple nights at the beach. We ended up staying in Nags Head at a little rental house. The owner lived next door and had a beautiful house with a large second floor deck on the front. There were some very odd looking 2×2s nailed to the sides of the columns supporting the deck. I asked him what in the world they were, and he ran into his garage and got an 8’ terracotta pot. they were pot hangers that worked by sliding the pot up into a slot and the leverage held it in place. I took a couple pictures and made some when I got home. Hope you guys enjoy. These were very very simple and I made them out of pre-cut, treated lumber from lowes. they are a little over 10 inches tall and I just cut a peak on the top of them with the table saw (45s on all 4 sides). I think i made 3 dozen in about an hour.
