I love this pen kit! This one is made from ebony and a material called Tru-Stone. Funny side note, I’ve had the Try-Stone for probably 8 years but was afraid to try and turn it. Figured my skills might not be up to the task of tackling “Stone”. What a maroon… this stuff cuts like butter.

Nice job RS. Is that a pen or a pen (fountain)? That white Tru-Stone looks and finishes beautifully.

I have a penchant for the high end pens, the only problem is that tre’s not too many people that know how to write properly anymore.

One slight criticism though… that case doesn’t do the pen justice…

That is an amazingly nice look. I just sold a couple of the Faith, Hope, Love pens to 2 members of the clergy in black Tru-Stone. Nice hard acrylic and easy to turn and polish. The blanks aren’t cheap but it’s something I can’t recreate at home. I really like the look of yours. Gonna have to do one.

True That!! One of my kids just graduated from Georgetown Law and can’t write in cursive but he can type like a stenographer. Sister Charles Bronson is turning over in her grave with a knuckle whacking ruler in her cold dead hands. :-)

Nice looking pen. Might have to whip up a few, been some time since I stocked the pen box.

Put some shoes on caveman! haha – That’s a sweet looking pen! Glad you finally took the plunge and used that Tru-stone, it “turned” out really nice!

That beautiful of a pen does not deserve to be hidden in its storage container! Congrats on a job well done! I never knew ebony could look so stunning with the help of Tru-stone. I guess you would have to use some creativity juices that you have to achieve such a result which sadly I think I might be lacking of. Thanks for the inspiration!
