Drawer section is made of poplar. The drawers are mounted on fulll extension glides so they are nearly as deep as the bed giving lots of storage space. The barn is framed with 2X3 pine and sided with rough sawn fir. The top is galvinized metal.

Aw man, this is so incredibly cool. I grew up on a farm and I really really love John Deere. :) This is one lucky kid.
