Another project from a Woodsmith Magazine plan, except they painted (ewwww, paint) theirs. Green. Mine’s cherry and cherry plywood. There’s a spice rack in the back, and the backing there is a “character” piece of plywood that I found at a salvage store. I guess it could be paneling scrap. The top lifts off and can be used as a cutting board. There’s going to be a microwave set on top of this, so I doubt the cutting board is going to see much use. Since it’s cherry, and not end grain, that’s probably best. Shellac finish.
