Earlier this summer I stumbled upon a blog by ‘Britboxmaker’. I found the project so attractive I decided to make a similar project. Mine is constructed of 1/2 BB plywood covered with veneers of Fumed White Oak. The lid is Bleached Movinque, Fumed White Oak and Pauduk veneers with a solid Pauduk handle. Hinges are 90 degree kerf cut from Craft Inc.. The adhesive to secure the box and lay the veneers was 5 minute epoxy.
