Here is a buckboard seat my wife has been wanting for many years. I finally ordered the kit after seeing john Daugherty post his. His was project #33742. His was made out of walnut, and a very nice buckboard. I choose white oak for mine. I finished it with minwax Early American #230 stain, and 3 coats of poly. This was a fun project and won me a lot of points with the wife. I hope you enjoy and thank you for looking.

Beautiful. I really like the top rail. I made a buckboard seat for a pony cart about a year ago. That rail is what’s missing, I like your style much better.
