I built three of these tables after I finished the copper table. I had already worked out the design on the copper table so I pushed these tables through the shop pretty quick. It’s solid cherry other than the center panel which is sapele veneered to an mdf substrate. The finish is boiled linseed oil, with poly topcoat. Thanks for looking.

Absolutely beautiful. great job! I’m not much for the copper ones, but I love the sapele. I have some ribbon sapele veneer just begging to be a table top just like this!
Great design.
Did you veneer the underside with the same or different veneer?

Thanks Ryan, I veneered the underside with some cheap plain sawn makore. I can’t afford to waste the good stuff on underside ya know.
