Okay, so not technically a project made entirely of wood, but necessary to organize and improve the layout of the workshop. Not planning to add a tremendous amount of weight to these, but they’ll be more than adequate to get long boards, etc up and out of the way. Superstruts lag bolted to rafters, 3/8” threaded rod carries the boards below.

great idea – that unistrut and strut nuts will hold a lot more than you may think.

That’s excellent idea for attachment of most anything to the rafters. Easy to move and change around!

Nice idea. I saw an idea somewhere for making a panel saw frame for breaking down plywood sheets that folds up against the ceiling in a similar way. Might be a good way to get double duty from your design: storage when not in use and a panel saw as needed.
