This is a dresser I made for my son. It is constructed of maple with poplar drawers. The cross inlay is walnut. I was about to put the finish on it when my son came out to the shop and told me he wanted to paint it red with a cross. There was no way I was going to paint it, so we settled on a compromise. That’s how the cross got added to the door. The dresser was finished with poly and no paint.

Really nice job! I can’t blame you for refusing to paint it.

Nice work. Paint is for those with less skill.
