I was recently asked to provide gift sets to be taken to Japan on a “political” trip. I ended up with 5 sets of these coasters. The coasters and holder are 100% epoxy covered with 2 coats, then final sanded and lacquered. The concept is less common wood species that grow in Iowa.

Coaster species; E. Red Cedar, Black Walnut, Osage Orange, American Elm. Holder is Black Cherry trimmed with Red Mulberry. All of this came from my trees. (except walnut which came from friend)

Looks great! A very nice idea. Gowing up in Iowa increases my appreciation.

Those are nice.
