The home we are renting is a historic home in a southern Indiana town. One nice thing about being able to do woodworking, I was able to trade off my working skills for some of the rent cost.

I made inside shutters for total of 7 windows. Each window about 36” wide x 30” tall. I made out of pine. Knots and all. Using some binzer primer paint, I feel like the knots will not be seen. Each set of shutters will swing open as you see in the pictures.

Our landlord was very happy…me too.

Really turned out nice.
