Your work is nothing short of exceptional.
I like the use of the metal punch tool and template for the ebony accents. Smart.

Where did you get your office chair hardware?

Beautiful Darrell. I especially like the opening details in the headboard and footboard (is that what it’s called?). I think you mentioned being at a show this past weekend. I hope it went well. Thanks for posting this stunning piece.

Thanks everyone –
Chip – the opening is in the shape of a tsuba (Japanese sword guard). Charles Greene had a collection of tsubas and often incorporated the shape in his furniture designs. Yes – I did have a show last weekend – it was a lot of furn but not as much traffic as I had hoped for. In a few weeks I have another show in Pasadena ( the center of the known G&G universe !) – always a great place to visit !

I was in Pasadena a while back Darrell. Beautiful, beautiful place. They have a terrific Convention Center… is that where the show is? Regardless, good luck… I’m sure the traffic will be better there. Keep us posted please. On second thought, I’ll go to your site and see if you list the location there.
