Mothers Day Cutting Board

Hello again everybody. Wanted to share my most recent project I completed. I made this cutting board as a mothers day present, fingers crossed it’s a good gift XD

The main wood of the board is red oak, the darker wood is a piece of mineral stained poplar (I posted a picture of the stock I ised in lumber for those interested), and the spalted eood is from the same log I ised for the cheese board I posted last. Most likely maple if I had to guess.

Also, no planer or jointer was used to make this as I do not have either of these tools. All hand planed. I say this because I want to put it out there that while it is a bit more work, you dont need a planer and jointer to make a cutting board. Just give it a try!
