The grandson really enjoys playtime with the wooden trains (me too) so I made him a few accessories, crane with magnet, truck and loading dock, extra freight containers, and extra chemical containers. Some of the freight containers are drilled straight through, .375 inch, so they can double stack on the truck. All containers have steel rivet in top so they can be loaded/unloaded with magnet on crane. Truck carries 4 containers. Anybody recognize the swivel mechanism for the crane boom? Playtime has been extended indefinitely!!!

Forgot about the diesel filling station in pic 2 behind the truck. That was a couple weekends ago.

Great work on all the train stuff.

What a great idea! I love the new life you gave to your caster. This is a must for my grandkids. Super job and creativity.

Nicely done ! I think it will be appreciated for years to come ! Some time ago I was given a set of plans for a truck (auto transport truck I think) including a package of parts (wheels, rims, axles etc.) sold by Rockler. It has been sitting in a desk drawer for over thirty years now. Anyone interested in it ?. gratis ?, if so, just let me know and I’ll ship it off to you. I once offered this to another lumberjocks member who was posting photos of trucks he had built but his response was that maybe I should find someone else to foist off this garbage on. I just wrote his curt response off as a failure to communicate…So it sat here for another 2 years. I could just throw it in the recycling bin, but I thought I’d take one more chance at trying to find it a home. donschneider44@gmail.com Thanks
