Nice jog a’can’...

I will volunteer to be the devil’s advocate if I can… may I suggest replacing the screws with dowels in the next build… OK, it’s my druthers as I hate steel in wood (got caught too many times)... but it keeps the magnets hungry…

Thanks for the comment. I did think about using dowels but there were some assembly issues with that so I opted for the threaded rod. Maybe next time I will try dowels they are sure much easier to find and to work with.

Sorry a’can’, each modeler has their own take and personalisation on their models. I just have this weird phobia against the use of paint and metal in a great wooden model masterpiece… just wood & glue… and a clear finish… oil, shellac, wipe-on or lacquer… before the toasting liquour.

PS. So say’s the hypocrite that uses a laser in his workshop… but only I have to sleep with myself!

PPS. I only speak up cause the missus won’t let me preach in the house!
