My wife is a quilter and in a group that meets once a week to work on projects and “Gossip”. I had made her the rack that has the quilt on it and she thought I should make a couple more for the leader of the group and for a special friend of hers. These stand about 44” tall and the bow is 12” across. They are made from Red Oak with a dark stain with four coats of satin poly.

All comments are welcome.. Thanks for looking!

What an interesting idea. My wife is also a quilter and I haven’t seen a rack with such a unique idea in quite awhile. Nice one Chuck.

Yes, I agree. That is a very nice rack. It doesn’t have that big “footprint” that so many of them have. Shows off the quilt and the rack.

You hardly ever get to say “Nice Rack” to a guy ;^)

These are really nice. I’ll have to show them to my Mom- she’s also a quilter.

I love it. I’m going to be recieving a quilt in a few months. I might have to copy your very handsome rack.

Nice job, they look great. Did you use a mortise and tenon joint to connect the bow to the upright?
