bowl out of old oak door and some new wood

hi fellow L J a bowl made out of a old oak door it was very hard and was not easy to turn it wanted to chip no mater how sharp i got my chisels so i mixed uni bond with water about 50 /50 and brushed it on the bowl and let it half dry and then turned it on till it started to chip again so i coated it again with the uni bond and water mixture and turned a little at a time kept doing this till i got the shape i wanted and it seamed to work the bowl is 9 and a quarter by 6 the timber s are beach oak Ebony bubinga and ash finished with sand and seal and 5 coats of finshing oil

and seems lots of

to work with
