A little friendly competition between Husband (me) and Wife (Brandy) for your views. Thats right. Brandy and the Curly Cherry Tray 1604 views in 30 days. It will be interesting to see if Brandy and her pretty tray will be able to stand up to Beefy Woodworker and handsome tray. I was going to make my “Duck Face” for the picture but that would have been unfair. BTW I think it will be weird when I beat out Brandy….and uncomfortable in a…. uncomfortable sort of way….

This tray is made from Spalted Hard Maple reclaimed from the firewood pile and sap-stained Black Walnut book-matched. Walnut miter joint splines. A little different cabinet hardware from HD and Volia ;) 2.5” x 16” x 22” Oil mixture finish and wax with buffing.

Both trays look great, but I don’t think you stand a chance beating her! Nice work.

My fellow LJ, I will come back every day!
I’ll send the link to all my friends – look at this babe guys…
And then I will have no one left than you, so I’ll have to come back!
Nice tray, but!
Even you try really hard to give us the sexy Elvis look, I do prefere to look at your sweet wife.
And you make a big faliure here, you postet her link, so I was just back to see here, that means 1:1…
When this is said, then I acually like to get a face, so now I’ll smile even more when I see your face arround.
Send my thoughts to you wife, and tell her that YOU do not have a chance.
Best thoughts,
MaFe

Hello! I’m back again!
No this makes me tired, I think I’ll go to bed.
You will have to handle this fight your self!
-and now you are 3:1…
I laugh, wish you all the best,

Nice tray!

It’s funny though…. before I even read the description, my first thought was “Hey…. where is the other model?”

Even if you win, you lose. I learned that long ago… they never play fair.
And, she does make a more photogenic presentation…

oh, the trays… I prefer the curly cherry. It is a real stand out. I don’t think the walnut quite did the trick with the maple—although it is great work. Might be in the photos… Been nice to see side by side.
But, I am trying to save you from yourself… better let her have this one.

Brandy is definitely easier on the eyes. Oh, you meant the trays? I like the cherry.

Agree with Rowdy : In any case I´m afraid you´re in a loose loose situation mate.

If you win, I don´t wanna be you.
If you loose, I neither be you

My suggestion is surrender yourself, and post another tray with Brandy. (You can forget the tray)

Nice tray and pay the round.
