Jatoba bowl

This is five 1” segments of Jatoba, it’s 10.75” wide x 5” deep. Jatoba is tough to turn, it took a few hours!

I made a service call to a former woodworker’s house and traded the service call for around 100 board feet of Jatoba and a belt sander. He made a dining table from the Jatoba years ago and I think this bowl would look great on it since I got such a good deal on the wood!
Thanks for looking,
Chris

The bowl looks great, and boy, I don’t know what your service call was, but 100 bd. ft. of jatoba has to be worth what, $5-600? And a free belt sander. Wow!
Personally I like jatoba a lot. I always try to keep some in stock.
