This is the table I made in Kentucky at Kelly Mehler’s class. http://www.kellymehler.com/ I had a wonderful time while I was there. I had apprehensions about being the least experienced woodworker, but I kept up just fine. Doing the practice poplar table and practicing dovetails before hand helped. The class was 5 days and we worked hard every day. The table was not quite finished when the class was over, but I was able to finish it without to much trouble when I got home. Every piece of wood in the table is walnut so I can’t even show off the dovetails because they blend so well. The drawer bottom was quite figured and caused me fits when I was trying to plane it smooth, but it is beautiful and well worth the effort.
Thank you for looking.

Thats so beautiful – your smile on the last picture!
I’m really impressed, not only by the fact you did this in five days with such a wonderful result – but also by your will, that you make a test table before taking the class, that is really something.

The table is very nice and you did a real good job on it. It looks like the class was well worth it and I imagine that you learned a lot.
