I made this floor lamp with a combination of walnut wood and plexiglass. For the pillar I used the rest of the end of the board, whose edge I left in the original-unchanged look. The plexiglass is a transparent thickness of 2 cm. On the back of the plexiglass, I scratched the vertical lines, which, when the light is on, further scattered the light, giving a nice visual effect. The light source is two RGB LED strips, placed in a vertical channel and their total power is about 25W, which is enough for a fine ambient light. A wireless control is installed at the foot of the lamp, which changes the light modes (color, intensity) using the 44-button remote control. Light control in addition to pre-defined modes, also allows you to save several user-defined light effects. The receiver of the remote control itself for a better response is placed on a pillar, within a drilled hole, covered with transparent plastic about 1 mm thick. A 12V external power outlet is also included in the base.
The dimensions are:
  Total height: 107.5 cm
  Pillar thickness: 4 cm
  Base: 24 cm X 18 cm X 4 cm
