I HATE YouTube!! I spend to much time on it and there are so many really cool things to see on it. For this project I have Paul Hamler to thank for. His design for a chair scraper is much simpler and he makes his will all power tool. The only power tool I used was a drill. The body was shaped using rasps, hand saw, card scrapers, and sandpaper to 320 grit. The blade is from an old back saw that I was able to cut with tin snips and shaped with files. I included a couple of pictures showing the shavings I got on a piece of oak. Wood is Walnut finished with 3 coats of BLO and rubbed with beeswax. Two brass nuts inlayed as well as a brass wear plate inlayed. Thanks for looking.
