Started on creating the pattern for this one on Saturday night and had it totally cut and sanded by Noon on Sunday. Yup, totally original taken entirely from the 2nd picture I posted.
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is one of my favorite movies of all time! This, I think, is the best of the spaghetti westerns.
I wanted to use a really gnarly piece of wood for the work and I think I found the correct piece – it’s an old hunk of poplar I had lying around – I even left three of the rough edges on it. The knot in the upper left could be a cloud perhaps?
I got the flash just right in the last picture – he seems to be squinting from it. :-)
Measures 12×14 inches overall and is around 1/8 inches thick. Quick dunk in lemon oil and a felt backing.
