Oak Burl and Maple Branch Goblet

Oak burl and maple branch goblet… thats a mouthful… I made this in two pieces from an oak burl chunk and a branch from a maple tree that came down during the recent hurricane. I had no plan as I went along, which was actually an enjoyable experience. I had kicked this burl around the shop for about a year before figuring out how to mount and turn it. This is only a small piece of that burl and I am looking forward to making something equally cool with the rest of it.
