Oak burl and maple branch goblet… thats a mouthful… I made this in two pieces from an oak burl chunk and a branch from a maple tree that came down during the recent hurricane. I had no plan as I went along, which was actually an enjoyable experience. I had kicked this burl around the shop for about a year before figuring out how to mount and turn it. This is only a small piece of that burl and I am looking forward to making something equally cool with the rest of it.

Great work.

The “Master—master” likes it too. Now we will be waiting to see what Brian P. turns out.
