Helped set up a car show at a local church last weekend and they needed a special trophy for the kids (Junior Judges) to hand out. I already had the wooden spark plug and used to it to set on Ethel engine during the car shows i go to, soooo…I figured I’d just make a base and electrify it for them. Made a base out of cherry and went to Radio Shack for a bright white LED, push button and battery holder. Recessed the battery holder inthe base, installed the LEd in the plug tip and wired it up so you pushed the button and the LED lit. Had a couple folks from other car shows who wanted to just buy it for themselves. Hmmmmm… posible future work.

From the projects page I thought this was a lamp. So as far as possible future work you could branch out into lamps as well.
It looks amazing. What are the dimensions?

About 6” tall and on 3×4 base. I used to keep the plug with Ethel when we would be at shows but decided it would be better electrified and as a trophy.
