I tried to make a copy of thise ‘Tool Tray/Tote’ (thank you, Tom):

I made the trays of Masur Birch (my favourite wood) and the ends are Macassar Ebony (I think).

I sure hope it’s going to be for knitting stuff. There’s no way I could toss a hammer in there! Gorgeous.

I think it wuold fit right into my garage and carry all the oilcans and greaseboxes…lol

nice one! i like the handle. the arch leaves room for the tools to stack up ;)

WOW, that Masur Birch is amazing. I can’t stop staring at the front of the bottom box. It stuns me almost as much as Ziricote. I have to get my hands on some. Thanks for the post. I love LJs.

EPJartisan: Yes, I think it’amazing wood and definitely my addiction. It has several types of patterns, most of all I like this (my friend’s work):

And of course I can change masur birch to ziricote (it’s absolutely rare in Russua).
