This is a table for an electric train set that I built for (and with) my 9 year old son. It’s almost entirely made of quarter-inch plywood. I ripped the plywood into 3 inch wide strips and then used them to build the table support, the legs and the straight cross-bars between the legs. The cross braces are quarter inch by 1.25 inch molding. The top is just a standard sheet of plywood that he had been previously using to put his train on. He really likes having the train elevated rather than just using the plywood on the floor.

Hi Tanner, how goes the progress on the train table?
