Got a bit windy out and an oak tree fell in my woods. I managed to save a burl which i cut with a hand saw and it took forever to get off. This will be my first attempt at a bowl.cup ( depending on size it finishes to be ) and once again i will use only hand tools. I’ll update it as i go. ENJOY !

wow, you did that all with gouges? Impressive! Isn’t burl hard to chisel?

Thanks, and yes it takes a while i am seeing. This is a hard wood so it’s prooving difficult.

They always have a cool look. You need to get a bit better on picture taking :) to fuzzy. Do you have a macro setting on the camera?
