Well, I’ve been studying the bible lately and also trying to learn some basic Hebrew, and I thought it would be kind of cool to incorporate some of this in my bowl turning. The Hebrew language and alphabet is an ancient language consisting of 22 constanants and before modern times used know vowel mark or points as they call them, anyway I thought it was cool so here is my latest bowl or plate with some Hebrew burnt into the side of it, also I might mention when reading Hebrew, you read from right to left. This inscription means “Echoes of Heaven”, although when I first wrote it I thought it meant something different :), but thats alright, I’ll go with it.

I got the text from a combination of Hebrew translation sites and a book that I have.

That’s a very nice bowl; you could use that for all sorts of things. Good work.

What a very unique and beautiful bowl/plate…..... I really like the shape it really fits with the inscription.
Thanks for Sharing!
