i cut down a walnut tree that was getting into the power lines. and the first thing i made was this cup on the lathe..the only finish on it is 2 coats of poly and 2 coats of carnuba wax.. -- larry

I really want to make a wooden “cup” for my friend who is a big whiskey drinker…..is this wise to do?

I say why not .1 cup will go a long ways. before the glass and plastic days there was wood.
