Not the best or most circular, but it took me about 30 min to make using only hand tools. Well after i glued the wood overnight it took 30 min. First used hand crank drill to make finger hole. Then using files and rasps shaped it up. It is made up of oak and pine. Not using it for anything just biulding up my tool skills.

ceep on with the work, the learning curve is steap and lifelong
but you will suner than you think reach the point
where you know what you like to make
and starting with small projects is good
then will failiers ….eeh designmodifications
not be expencive and can be afforded

look forward to see your progress in the future

lovely – i’d wear it proudly, till i broke it smashing my fingers between two slabs of walnut or some such idiocy!
-is a crank drill one of those “eggbeater” things like i just found (and actually used) in my box of goodies from grandpa?
