Needed a new dining table so we made this farmers style at home. First attempt at a table, now to make the matching benches

The Table looks great, nice comfortable design, super job on the construction and finish. I’m sure you will do a great job on the benches too. As for the scary guy in the picture, he might need a little help, as we all do. Thanks for inspiring

Nice. Looks like solid construction – really like the pegs for connecting the trestle to the leg assembly. I echo MKH’s question on how the top is fastened, I’ve used cleats before on each side of the leg supports and this helps stability too … wondering what technique you used. Thanks
