Project Information
This step stool was made for my son who needed a way to get up on his new bed. He loves construction equipment and with his room being themed that way it was a no-brainer to make him a 'bulldozer ladder' (that's what he calls it). It's made from 3/4" pine using dado joints. I used screws for a quick assembly as I didn't want to use clamps and wait a day for the glue to dry. And a bonus of using screw plugs is that they look like bolts or rivets. I painted it a mustard yellow and stenciled on the CAT logos. This was a quick three hour project mainly using a bandsaw and a router. The size is approx 14 inches wide by 18 inches tall by 15 inches deep.
