I’ve made many endgrain cutting boards. I’ve also made this ‘3d blocks’ design in the past, but this is my favourite one so far, it is around 450mm x 350mm x 40mm in size, so nice and heavy and sturdy. I made it as a gift for my fine woman who says ‘it’s so beautiful, I don’t want to use it because then it will get food germs on it’...
so really I’ve wasted my time and made it for nothing. Should’ve turned it into a guitar for me instead, at least then i know it will get used as it was intended

Man, that is awesome. Great job.
I must try one of these one week.
Thanks for sharing.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

My wife has never cut a thing on two of her boards. she puts “stuff” on them to pretty up the kitchen.

I’d have to agree with her that it’s too nice to use!
But it is meant to be used, so grab the knife.

This is an outstanding cutting board and I love the pattern.
