This mango wood bowl shows more of the typical grain pattern. The irregular border is undercut quite deeply so that it holds quite a lot more that the rim size would suggest. It balances quite well on the small foot which has been shaped to give 3 feet to maintain the balance should it change shape much as it is green turned. The finish is Shellac and Wax.

Thanks Larry. The burl board that it is sitting on was surfaced with the Torque Centre . I have finished it for a friend who was trying for weeks to sand it by hand. I will put it up as a project soon.

Very nice. This is my idea of a good woodworking project – making something that is unique and original that you cannot buy in a store. Great job.
