This was one western ceder fence board I hand planed the board and glued it up. This is my second attempt on a band saw box. The first didn’t even get finished because some moron, the author, messed up and didn’t make a correct cut. I didn’t flip the drawer 90 degrees to cut the inside out. Oops , the way I cut it I had a drawer in a drawer.

A very nice little box. Far better than my 1st and 2nd boxes. One day i’ll make one of these right.
Just one small thing i noticed. Your entrance cut is across the grain. I think it would have been less noticeable if you had come in from the side with the grain. It would be less noticeable i think.
Just my 2p. I do like the shape of the box

Hi

An original design well done! I agree with the 2p worth from Bunarooba, as well as taking the eye away from that area, gluing is made alot easier!

Nice box, thanks for the tip on the cut line. I like the repurpose on the fence board.
