Spalted Maple Sphere on Walnut Stand

The maple is woodstove rescue. the walnut stand is dumpster rescue. It’s the largest spherical box I’ve made so far. Turn the “key” on the back to push the drawer out. And a hidden drawer behind the main.

Original designs from original sketches, my imagination at play. The sphere is a reoccuring theme, but each piece is one of a kind.
