Another fireplace rescue. The first drawer with the leather fob holds the face on. When removed, the face slides off to reveal 2 drawers (4 drawers total) and theres a hidden drawer behind the first drawer. As you can see, it’s nearly more spalt than wood. These were the only 3 pictures that came out on this project. Box has since been sold.

FAscinating project. Did you make up the plans for this? I like all the hidden drawers in there!

Very inventive design – deceptive! I almost did not look at this project because I thought it was just a picture of firewood!

Very cool box! Spalting is incredibly beautiful and saving it from the firewood pile makes it that much better! joec
