This and a cherry bent arm morris chair tool me about the same time that my first chair the walnut one posted earlier did. A total of about 70 hours. I have a bad habit in that when I go to the lumber store to buy wood for a kitchen or any other project if a board is highly figured and calls my name I just gotta have it. So its kinda like Andy Rooney says, sometimes you have to look at a piece of wood for years before you can make something of it. Anyway I love the richness and color of this chair. It is awesome! Some of the most beautiful mahogany.

Nice job with the chair. Did you do the upholstery or job that out?

All three of your chairs are beautiful but I kind of like the cherry one best. Thanks for posting.

God Bless

Mike’s custom upholstery did the cushions they are in a shop two doors down. Funny how some like the walnut some mahogany and some the cherry. I have a hard time making up my mind. The cherry is the most spectacular and weird grained cherry I’ve ever seen. The walnut I love because of the knots and grain. The mahogany one is striking grain and a beautiful red color. Thanks so much very labor intensive.

Another beautiful chair. I think I prefer the cherry one but great job on both.
