Neat idea, Im sure the couple will love the bench. I would like some clarification, you put a coat of sanding sealer or poly on for a pre finish. Then you set it out where people entering the reception can sign it with a ‘marker’, and put their wedding cards with money and such inside. Then after the reception you take it home, ‘first giving the couple the envelopes’ apply another coat or two of finish so the signatures are permanently sealed. Is that correct? I have a wedding coming up in a year or so and like your idea. Thanks
