18th Century Pennsylvania Side Chair

This is my first attempt at a chair. This one is done in tiger maple with a hand carved shell on the crest rail and hand carved feet. I just need to finish a few carved details and some knee blocks and it will be ready to finish.

I’ve never tried anything that challenging. I looks like you must have plenty of other practice if this is your first chair.
