It was a big day at the 3rd grade. I put on my tuxedo (t shirt ) and a cheese eating grin. Yes, that is my happy face. Me and Cat Girl got stopped in the hall for pictures. Another good day to be Pawpaw.

I wanted to make a picture frame to look like an Etch a Sketch, with a pic that looked kinda sketchy. This is what I wound up with.

Half lapped and rabbeted mahogany. Cherry knobs. BB ply backer board. Acrylic paint and rattle can poly.

9” wide x 7” tall

Good idea! Do kids know what an etch a sketch is? I said something reference Roy Rogers in a restruant the other day and the waitress looked at me as if I was from another planet! Well done…thanks for posting!
