This is my first “art” type project. I had tried to make some veneer but did not have any projects that could use material of this size. I glued the veneer to 3/4” ply and attached quarter sawn oak that had been kicking around for a few years at a frame. I used domino jointery to get some practice. I used Boiled Linseed Oil, spray shellac and renaissance wax for finish.

Looks great. A very nicely done frame for the burl which is beautiful and it looks a lot like a bearskin, which I think makes it even more interesting.
