Dressing Table and Stool

Christmas holiday project finally finished – and just in time for my daughter’s birthday!! Design is a “New England” dressing table with some modifications and still need to make / get the right mirror. Struggled with the copy attachment on my new lathe but eventually after much frustration I got the hang of it.

Also doubt I will make flush drawer fronts again, I think the false fronts are likely to be much easier! Also did some upholstery on the stool which was my first attempt. Really enjoyed this project and my daughter is super thrilled – I think my other 2 daughters might be keen on the next versions :-)

That is a nice looking project. Lots of details that really make it unique.
