Nice! Very clean. Did you inlay the maple or laminate it to the walnut frame before you put it together?? I have a table top on a piece with a similar design…mitered frame around a veneer with inlay separating them. My next feat is to curve that inside edge and add a curved inlay to match an outside curve. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Outstanding Jason. The inlay & the bookmatching really highlight a beautiful job.

Simply beautiful. The maple accent and bookmatched top really “make” this piece. I’ve been wanting to try something like this since seeing David Mark’s game board project. I hope mine comes out as nice. Strong work.

Great table. I love veneer. I’ve got too much of it I’ll never use it all in my lifetime.
