Made this pair of mallets from scrap. The big boy is Tasmanian Oak and the smaller one is Jarrah. The smaller one is a dead blow filled with lead shot. Both are an excellent weight and I’m quite happy with how they came out for a first try.

I never thought of making a dead blow mallet, might have to give this one a try. Good job.
