Very impressive box Rikkor. Is that one of the Doug Stowe boxes? I’ve been thinking about doing one, now I will have to make one – I like it!

Looks good, rikkor. Those small simple boxes are fun to make and enjoyable to have. Could you fill that last picture space with a look inside or with the lid off? Could you give us some clue as to it’s construction?

Blake, I had a picture with the lid off, and to my horror there was a prominant bead of glue showing. Too, too embarassing. It is mitered joinery.

I really like the bevel on the lid. And the “one piece” look of the lid is great. Is this done with a scroll saw?

I beveled the lid on the table saw. then a round-over bit followed by sandpaper.
