Horizontal drill press boring jig

I made a boring jig similar to woodgears, and it works great. You just clamp your work along the straight edge then use the same straight edge to guide the drill into the work. Here I am drilling into the end of a dowel.

Great idea. I was thinking of making something similar to bore holes in the ends of cribbage boards for peg storage.

That front clamp looks like it will get you a nice straight, secure system. Very cool!
