This glider was purchased by a friend for a Christmas gift. It was my first paying job. Of course the second one went a lot smoother than the first one. Of course it was made from pine, stained with Minwax Puritan Pine, and clear coated with spar urethane. This was the first time I had actually kept track of my hours for cutting and coating. I started making a spread sheet keeping track of hours and expenses, so if I make any more I will be able to charge the appropriate price. I have a very high respect for the woodworkers on this site who do this for a living, dealing with deadlines and charging the right prices. Still learning as always.

I probably done a little extra sanding on this than what is really needed, so it might have taken a little longer for me than most woodworkers. I sanded every piece of wood with three grades. It took me 51 hours. That counts assembly and everything.
