I’d like to thank WoodsmanWoodworker for his grease pot blog, which inspired these into existence.
Thought they’d be fun to try and they were.
I got the angle on top, wrong on the first two. A little too steep for a secure fit. Live and learn. Think I’ve got it now. Fun gifts, quick to make.
I bored the channel out with a forsner bit and did most cuts on the band saw. So not old school, but….......
I also coated the inside with CA glue, to seal. Got a feeling they won’t all be used to hold carpenters grease.
I think they’d be cool pen holders for you pen makers. A gift box for a knife.
Who knows what else….......
That’s it, hope you make your’s soon…...............
